This Data Privacy notice explains in detail how PESA IQ GROUP handles your data, the security measures we have in place, and your rights under applicable data protection laws.
What Data We Store
We store the personal information you provide during registration, financial account metadata you connect to Pesa IQ (we do not store raw bank credentials), transaction history you import or sync, and preferences and settings you configure within the app.
How We Secure Your Data
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. We operate on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with regular security audits. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
Third-Party Integrations
When you connect a bank or financial account, we use regulated Open Banking providers to retrieve your data. We do not see or store your banking credentials. The data retrieved is used solely to provide you with insights within Pesa IQ.
Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use privacy-preserving analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate.
Data Transfers
We are based in Kenya. If your data is processed outside your country, we ensure adequate protection is in place through standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards recognised under applicable law.
Your Data Rights
You have the right to access a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Submit requests to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
